The online calendar has not yet been updated Thursday Rosary: Our council is holding a rosary each Thursday in October at 7PM in the chapel. All Knights are encouraged to attend. Friday Adoration: Knights are still needed to cover the Eucharistic Adoration on Fridays in St. Michael chapel from 5PM to 8:45PM. Message from Your Grand Knight

Brothers,
Well here we go, right into the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. This is going to be an exciting and busy time for all of you personally and professionally. Please be sure to take things as they come, get plenty of rest and pray daily for strength to carry out your hard work and worthy efforts. As we look ahead, the next months hold many events. Starting with the upcoming Crab Feed here are the details:

• Timing – 1/7/12
• Location – Livermore Community Center
• Needed – Knights to help with all aspects of the event

This is a great way to meet your fellow parishioners and help in building our council. Please be part of this fun event! In order to get this started we will need funding which in past years has come from the Legacy account in way of a loan. We will do the same this year and draw $8000.00 to pay for the hall and the crab. This money will be re-paid to the legacy account upon completion of the event as part of the disbursements. This request has been made part of the September and October business meetings in the “New Business” section of the meeting. This is to inform all Brothers that the money will be disbursed on 12/15/11. The second intention of this letter is to inform all Brothers that there is a need to raise our operating funds through way of withdrawal from the legacy account as well. Our funds are running low for the normal day to day operation of the council. For this reason it is being requested that $2000.00 be withdrawn from the legacy account and placed directly into our council checking account. The money will go towards the funding of our Christmas events and the day to day operation of the council. This too has been a topic addressed in the September and October business meeting under the New Business section of the meeting. I end this message as I will end all messages and that is with a personal thank you to all brothers for your hard work and support of our council. I look forward in continuing the success.
